Our history:

It all started in the mid-80's when a 7th grader named Tony Vitteli and his best friend Emilio Livrano stole some kid's bicycle, customized it, then turned around and sold it at a premium. Just two punk kids in New York who decided to do something his own way, do it well, and do it in the face of everybody who said it couldn't be done.

Tony and Emilio decided to start there own business, when more people were getting interested they formed Vitteli Customs thirtheen years ago in the heart of Downtown New York and it's taken on a life of its own. First it grew into a hand-picked 5-man team in an 500-square-foot shop, and later in one of the biggest enterprise companies. Today it sprawls over 3,000-square-feet in industrial New York, a series of art deco warehouses that, true-to-form, were simultaneously restored and modified to house the operations.

So it was only a matter of time before Vitteli Customs expanded beyond the bicycle. Yes, the cars have always been part of the landscape and now the focus is there too. Always at least fifteen projects underway, the car guys are always busy, chopping and channeling and airbags, all wrapped up in metal flake or maybe just primer and pin-striping.
